Doctor Kwong Ming Lai, trained in Chinese medicine, disciple of Greg Tsoi (Choy Siu Kwong) in the Wing Chun system, also trained JKD in its original lineage. He was a student of Ted Wong, Leo Fong and Taky Kimura. doctor Kwong master of Tai Chi Chuan, known in Brazil as Mestre Lai, was in the country in the 1980s and 1990s, giving several lectures, teaching Tai Chi Chuan, Wing Chun and Jeet Kune Do. When he was in Brazil, he produced publications in Portuguese focused on Tai Chi Chuan and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Doctor Kwong Ming Lai continued his training and teachings until the end of his life in the United States of America (USA), leaving his legacy.
