He first encountered Martial Arts in Germany at the age of 7. He started with Karate, and in the following years began to practice Wushu Kung Fu, Taekwondo, Kick Boxing and Boxing. He competed in tournaments from 1987 to 1995. He met Wing Chun in 1987. He continued his practice in Turkey for many years. Previous training was EWTO Wing tsun and Moy Yat Ving tsun. He later moved to the United States and he met Master John Clayton and became a student. From 2006 onwards, he trained directly under Master John Clayton at the Advanced Wing Chun School in Baltimore, MD and is still actively practicing. He also opened his school the Wing Chun Close Range Combat, Abingdon, Maryland’s was founded by Master Ismail Agcicek. His training is: Chi Kung Breathing, Chin Na, Chi Sao, Forms, Street Defense, Disarming Weapons, Dragon Pole, Swords, Iron Palm, Kicking Developments, Self-Defense, and Wood Dummy. He is the 10th-generation student of the Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu System under Master John Clayton lineage.
