Sifu Steven Chu has been teaching Wing Chun since 1979 privately in Melbourne. Sifu Steven is a second generation student from Grand Master Yuen Chai Wan, he teaches a rare style of Wing Chun which can be traced back to Xinan (South West China) from Fok Bo Chuen, an imperial constable during the end of the Qing Dynasty late 1800s. Yuen Chong Ming a firework merchant from Foshan paid large sums of money, to Fok Bo Chuen to teach both his son’s Yuen Chai wan and his younger brother Yuen kay San. Today we still preserve & teach the method and system Yuen Chai Wan had initially learnt from Fok Bo Chuen and also a modern curriculum suitable for the average person who wants to learn self defense, keep mentally & physically fit and build confidence.
