At age 18, while studying for his BA in Melbourne, Australia, Sifu Freddy began training as a personal student of Grandmaster William Cheung.
In 1999, Sifu Freddy moved back to Hong Kong where he took over the World Wing Chun Kung Fu Association (Hong Kong Branch). There, he continued to receive personal instruction from Grandmaster William Cheung every half year.
In 2003, Sifu Freddy received his level 10 rank from Grandmaster William Cheung and become a certified instructor of the World Wing Chun Kung Fu Association. 2004-2005-singapore established Pure Wushu association. 2006-japan yokohama established branch by his own.
