Cheung Ng (Tan Sao Ng)

Cheung Ng was one of the survivors that fled from the Manchurians when the Shaolin Temple was destroyed. Cheung Ng learned Yat Chum's system and in order to protect their identity they invented the story of Yim Wing Chun. In order to hide from the Manchurians Cheung Ng took refuge among the Hung Sueng (Red Boat Opera Troupe) and it was there where he became known as Tong Sao Ng, whom then passed on the Wing Chun system to the following Masters:

Wong Wah Bo Hung Gan Biu/Hung Gun Biu Leung Yee Tai Dai Fa Min Kam/Painted Face Kam Lo Man Gong Siu Sang Hung Fook Gao Lo Chung/Tall Man Chung
