42 years of training in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Western martial arts, of which 22 were of the Ip Man Lineage. Training and teaching Ip Man Ving Tsun in Singapore since 1999 and was one of the pioneers of Ip Man Ving Tsun in South East Asia. Was the definitive person who brought Samuel Kwok to Singapore and South East Asia for the first time and helped him grow his presence in the region. Assisted in teaching his Malaysian seminars and translating his books. Met Grandmaster Ip Chun at his 80th and 88th birthday bringing the Singapore contingent to attend these events. Brought the Singapore contingent to attend Ving Tsun Athletic Association Anniversary in Foshan, China. Eventually found Grandmaster Ip Ching and was accepted as his person disciple, and eventually was awarded the Instructor Certificate directly under him. Brought the first Singapore contingent to train with Grandmaster Ip Ching at VTAA in Hongkong and also the first Singapore contingent to attend Ip Ching's 80th Birthday.
